What does your roadside assistance plan cover?

Our plans include towing, flat tire changes, battery jump starts, fuel delivery, lockout services, and more—24/7, wherever you are in the U.S. Towing is provided to the nearest service center OR to the destination of your choice within your plan's limit (5 miles with our Basic Plan, or 100 miles with our Premier Plan).

Additional Liberty Lane benefits include savings on parking, a gas cashback program, annual service inspection(s), access to a mechanics hotline, maintenance and repair savings, and more!

How quickly will help arrive?

We aim to dispatch help immediately after your request. Arrival times can vary by location, but most customers receive assistance within 45-75 minutes.

Do I need a membership to use your services?

Enrollment into a Basic Plan or Premier Plan is required. A 72-hour waiting period applies to new enrollments before coverage becomes effective.

How do I request roadside assistance?

Can I use the service for someone else’s car?

Yes! As long as you're present at the scene, our assistance plans follow the member — not just the vehicle.

Am I required to use your mobile app to request roadside assistance?

No, you are not required to use the mobile app to request roadside assistance. If you prefer, you can reach our roadside assistance dispatch team 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, by calling us toll-free at (888) 410-7007.

Our mobile app, powered by Way+, enables you to access many of the unique benefits that are included in your plan. Where available, our mobile app also offers status updates should you ever request help on the road.

Will I receive membership cards in the mail?

Yes, you will receive a Liberty Lane Roadside Welcome Kit, which will include membership cards and window decals that can be affixed to your car windshield for easy access should you ever need help on the road.

Why was the previous "AMAC Roadside Assistance Program" discontinued?

First established in 2012, the "AMAC Roadside Assistance Program" was discontinued effective July 1, 2025 when our network partner ceased to offer the program. Plans expiring after that date will not be renewed. Liberty Lane was created especially for AMAC Members and was developed around feedback provided by AMAC Members. We’ve simplified our plan offerings, expanded the roadside assistance network, and have incorporated helpful new enhancements – including an innovative new mobile app – to ensure that your experience with our new roadside assistance benefit is best-in-class. We’ve managed to do all of this while maintaining our competitive pricing!
